During a recent visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, I observed the nation's transformation from a communist past towards a market-driven future under President Mirziyoyev's leadership. Supported internationally, the country pursues pragmatic development goals, balancing modernity with tradition. Despite facing significant challenges, particularly in human rights, Uzbekistan shows promise in governance and global engagement, aiming to become a regional model.
